Roydon Village Hall
Harlow Road, Roydon CM19 5HH
Roydon Village Hall is situated on Harlow Road; the main road through Roydon Village linking Harlow to Epping.
It was built in 1920 as a single hall, but was extended in the 1970s to include two halls, a kitchen, refectory and up-to-date toilets.
The Green hall (the larger of the two) had new wooden flooring in 2010, and is marked out for Badminton.
Pre-school meets every weekday morning (term time) and has the sole use of both halls and a secure outside play area.
There are two halls and a smaller room available for hire on weekday afternoons and evenings, and throughout most weekends subject to regular hirers not occupying them. Check the availability by going to the Diary page.
The mobile library parks in the car park on alternate Thursdays between 10.40 and 11.30. (Check the Diary)
The 2014 renovations to bring RVH up to 21st century standards by improving insulation, lighting and heating are now complete. See what’s been happening by clicking here.
